About This Fundraiser
This competition has been organised by Leigh Thurston, Head Chef at Ebrington Hotel, as a personal way to give something back after seeing first-hand the compassion and dignity shown to his family by Foyle Hospice.
It is held in memory of Leigh’s father-in-law, Eugene O’Donnell, and Rose Nelis (the mother of Leigh’s sister-in-law), whose care and support at Foyle Hospice meant a great deal to those closest to them.
Every entry helps raise vital funds for Foyle Hospice, supporting specialist palliative care and wraparound support for patients and families across the North West when it matters most. Thank you for supporting Leigh’s competition and, through it, the care Foyle Hospice provides every day.
