2025 marks 40 years of Foyle Hospice Care

This year we are celebrating 40 years of amazing Foyle Hospice Specialist Palliative Care services in the Northwest providing vital specialist palliative care and support to patients and families across the community 💙 Throughout the past 40 years, our staff have been privileged to care for over 22,000 patients and families, as they navigate their palliative care journey. We will be hosting special celebration events throughout the year to mark 40 years of care which we are so proud of, so please make sure to keep an eye out for more details to come.

Location

Our Hospice is situated on a site on the banks of the River Foyle which is therapeutically, geographically and culturally perfect.

Care and Support

Foyle Hospice has become synonymous with palliative care services and support across the Western Health and Social Trust area in Northern Ireland.

An honour

We are extremely privileged to have cared for over 22,000 patients and their families to date.

Community Care

Our specialist community palliative care team engage with many patients at home who are living with a life-limiting illness.

Inpatient Unit

Patients can avail of treatment, 24 hours a day in a ‘home from home’ environment.

Day Therapy

Our Day Therapy provides a relaxed atmosphere with a range of activities including complementary therapies, medical support and holistic care.

Bereavement Support

Foyle Hospice provides bereavement support to those who may be finding it difficult during their bereavement journey, including children.
