This book is compiled perpetuate the name of Dr Tom McGinley, whose efforts, of mind, heart and hand to establish a hospice, were gargantuan, from the ‘vision’ to the physical reality. It is also dedicated to those many thousands, who joined him in the dream, and who walked and ran with him over decades, until the opening of Foyle Hospice during June 1991 and long after.
