Together we care.
Foyle Hospice is a charity providing specialist palliative care for people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, and support for their families and loved ones, across the Western Health and Social Care Trust area.
Hospice care is about helping people live as well as they can, for as long as they can, and supporting the people closest to them.
We care for people living with illnesses that cannot be cured, including advanced cancer, heart and lung disease, dementia and progressive neurological illness. Care is planned around you and your family, wherever you are: at home, with us for a day, or in our Inpatient Unit. Even when days cannot be added to life, we aim to add life to days.

Patients, families, carers and health professionals can phone the hospice at any time and ask for a nurse or doctor. Useful to have to hand: the diagnosis, any medication, and what is worrying you. We may advise on symptoms, or point you to out-of-hours services.
Donations fund the majority of what we do. £15 could fund a Day Therapy session, £30 an hour of care in the Inpatient Unit and £78 a visit to someone at home.
