In Lieu of Flowers

Many people choose to support Foyle Hospice in memory of their loved one by asking for donations to Foyle Hospice in lieu of flowers.

Donations help us to provide our specialist palliative care services for patients with life-limiting illnesses, while supporting their families and loved ones.

When a loved one dies, relatives receive funeral flowers from people who want to show their sympathies, but you may prefer to receive something else instead.

The most common thing people ask for In Lieu of Flowers is a donation to charity in honour and in memory of their loved one who has died.

Asking for donations to Foyle Hospice in lieu of flowers is easier than you think.

There are several ways that donations can be made to Foyle Hospice:

  • Donation envelopes
  • Ask your funeral director to distribute our donation envelopes
