Salary will be on Agenda for Change Band 4 (£23,949 to £26,282 pro rata)

Foyle Hospice is seeking to appoint an ambitious professional to assist with the organisation’s Public Relations and Communications.  They will primarily focus on raising the profile of Foyle Hospice’s services and organisational branding, as well as ensuring positive engagement with stakeholders including patients, families, volunteers, donors and staff. The successful candidate will contribute to the long-term growth, success and sustainability in line with our mission, vision and core values.  They will deliver a range of communications and development activities with an emphasis on promoting and publicising the work of Foyle Hospice, highlighting the work that we do, outlining opportunities for involvement and helping to maximise potential income streams.

 

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline or at least one years’ experience with clear evidence of a track record of achievements in communication including copy writing and editing and  one years’ experience in either media, PR and marketing, journalism corporate communications or related fields.  A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and social media platforms is also essential.
