Our allocated Foyle Hospice entries for the 2026 Irish Life Dublin Marathon are now at capacity – but if you were lucky enough to secure your own place through the ballot, you can still run as part of Team Foyle Hospice.

If you already have your own entry, you are free to fundraise for the charity of your choice and joining our team does not use one of Foyle Hospice’s limited charity places.

So, if you’ve got your bib, you’ve already done the hard bit.

Now you can turn every training mile, every early morning and all 26.2 miles through Dublin into something bigger – helping Foyle Hospice continue to provide specialist palliative care and support for local patients and families.

Why run Dublin?

There is something special about marathon day in Dublin.

The route takes you right through the city, from St Stephen’s Green and the Liberties to Phoenix Park, Chapelizod, Terenure and back towards the heart of Dublin for the finish.

You’ll experience the crowds, communities and atmosphere that have made Dublin one of Europe’s major city marathons – and in 2026, you’ll be part of its 45th running.

Whether it’s your first marathon, you’re chasing a new personal best or simply want to take on something that once felt impossible, crossing that finish line is an achievement you’ll remember.

Doing it for your local Hospice gives every mile another reason.
